Fire Cupping Therapy (FCT) is an ancient practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The practice can be dated back to as early as 3000 B.C. Cupping is all about circulation. Stationary cups are placed over an area of skin and left for a period of 10 to 15 minutes. The purpose of cupping therapy is to move the stagnation of Qi and blood by creating pressure from suction, which will bring an increased flow of nutrients to the area.
